Starting as they meant to go on, the nighted kicked off with the fantastic Candy And The Dead who rocked the stage with their Goth n’ Roll/ Post Punk tunes. I especially liked the Mad Max anecdote and the song Children of the Dust.
Next up to take the stage were the phenomenal two piece Tango Pirates; with their brand of Rock n’ Roll with a hint of Punk, they rocked the stage, keeping the momentum of the night going together with Danny Fury’s captivating vocals. This is another band I hadn’t had the pleasure of seeing before, but given how their set went down with the audience, I’d see them again, they were awesome!
It’s awesome to see this four piece on stage again, they rock! I’ve followed them for years, and they certainly give the fans what they want, especially with the terrific Write My Name. I’d personally like to hear a return from Symmetry and A Thousand Different Ways, but I’m not sure that is on the cards, would be nice though.
